A catalyst promoting a healthy climate for our community and future generations.
The Douglas County Global Warming Coalition asks you to contact your state senator and state representative on the following bills. House Bill 2618 would bring back rebates for installing solar panels. House Bill 3379 would set state regulations on companies like UBER and LYFT. We oppose House Bill 3023 which would prevent local governments from regulating companies like UBER and LYFT. Below is a message with an attachment sent by Chris Hagerbaumer of the Oregon Environmental Council in support of HB 3379 as an option to HB 3023 which the Oregon Environmental Council also opposes. The attachment explains their position on these bills.
